 Elder Joseph T. Senter
 
Elder Senter was first called to preach the gospel in November 1995, and was licensed by Mount Olive Baptist Church under the pastorate of Elder Ventrus Norfolk. 
 
God had another plan when the spirit of the Lord guided Elder Senter to Bethel Baptist church where he is an Associate Minister under the direction of Pastor Clifton Jackson, Sr. 
 
He is also one of the church musicians at Bethel where he is an anointed bass guitarist.  He has been blessed to play the bass for the last 48 years.  He was first introduced to the guitar in church by his late grandmother the Reverend Frankie Senter where she gave him his first guitar and he has been in love with gospel music ever since.
 
Elder Senter is married, and he and his wife Edith have five children and five grandchildren.
 
He is employed by Dockery Funeral Home where he is Managing Funeral Director and Embalmer.  He is also employed by Morristown Haamblen Healthcare system as a Patient Representative. 
 
Elder Senter is a 1972 Graduate of Morristown West High School, and a graduate of the Gupton-Jones Funeral Servicd College in Atlanta Georgia.
